With the Crosscast Spod with 45mm spool stroke DAIWA offers an ultimately tough Big Pit reel for the use of heavy spods, spombs, large PVA bags etc.
By combining the longcast spool with a 45mm spool stroke also large weights can be cast to far remote spots. The HIP metal line clip spares the line and is perfectly suited for accurate and frequent targeting of fishing spots with heavy spods.
Compatible with QDM drag knob (art.-no. 10158-000). QDM drag know separately available.

The QDM drag knob allows you to decrease the drag sensitivity of your QD Big Pit reels. You can change the drag from open to closed via a 3/4 turn while the usual QD drag performance only needs 1/4 turn.
Fitting for all Emblem 45 and 35, Crosscast 45 and 35 and Whisker 45 SCW QD reels.

The abbreviated QD (Quick Drag) function allows you to apply a controlled level of "Free Spool" but still engage the drag back to your chosen level with less than one turn.

QD offers the advantage of a "free running" set up with a rapd front drag control on a big pit reel.
