DAIWA GERMANY GmbH – GLOBERIDE Inc.

In 2021 the DAIWA GERMANY GmbH arose out of the former DAIWA CORMORAN GmbH from Gröbenzell, which had been founded in 1974 as wholesale for sports and fishing tackle. As a 100% subcompany of the GLOBERIDE Inc., based in Tokio/Japan, DAIWA GERMANY GmbH looks after the development and sales of fishing tackle in Germany, Austria, Swiss, Benelux, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia and the Baltic countries.

The three subcompanies DAIWA France, DAIWA Italy and DAIWA UK, based in Rouen, Milan and Scotland, care for sales in the rest of the EU resp. England and Scandinavia.

Within our DAIWA GERMANY office in the heart of Munich, about 50 employees in international teams work hard and very dedicated to fulfill the wishes of our international customers.

In its history, DAIWA GERMANY GmbH was able to give birth to some pioneering developments – which today the fishing tackle branch doesn't want to miss. For example the very first bite and run reel worldwide as well as the globally pioneering first braided line have been launched under the brand CORMORAN.

With its brand DAIWA the GLOBERIDE Inc. group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of fishing tackle and has established its globally unique reputation especially within fishing reel and rod design. Worldwide, the GLOBERIDE Inc. employs about 6000 people and runs several manufacturing sites for reel and rod manufacturing in Japan, Vietnam, China, Thailand and Scotland.

At the headquarter in Tokyo about 600 employees and a team of engineers work dedicatedly for the development of new products and concepts to revolutionize the fishing sport worldwide.
