The 30-50lbs model covers the full range of heavy sea fishing with lures and natural bait for halibut, cod, ling and wolffisch. The sensitive tip indicates even softest bites reliably and the strong backbone allows to master also fights with 100kg giants!
In case of damage the tip sleeve can be replaced within seconds thanks to the special screw-in system.

The Sealine X'treme Interline Travel rods from DAIWA are especially popular among fishermen who seek their adventure in northern Norway. Due to the extraordinary action, which can hardly be distinguished from two-sectioned rods, these rods also have a huge fanbase among anglers who travel to more nearby fishing destinations by car or plane.
The lineup of these exclusively equipped travel rods features matching rods for most common fishing techniques for cod, coalfish and halibut as well as for deep sea fishing for redfish and ling.
The three-sectioned model with 30-40lbs is designed for using pirks between 100g and 300g as well as for XL shads up to 30cm and heavy jigheads. The soft tip buffers flights perfectly while the strong backbone offers enormous power reserves – large halibuts and cods can be directed without compromises!
The four-sectioned models fit in almost every suitcase and are ideally suited for fishing trips way up north by plane. The harmonic tip action reliably indicates bites and prevents unhooking during the fight. These rods are available with either an DAIWA screw-in reel seat or with an Fuji trigger reel seat (art.-no. 11846-236). The tip sleeves are screwed-in and can be replaced within seconds in the case of damage.

With the Light models from the Sealine X'treme series DAIWA offers the proven Interline technology at blanks with modified actions that are designed for light jigging and using shads. The Light Pilk models are especially suited for targeting cod and coalfish in shallow and medium depths with lures of up to 250g. The equally divided model can be transported in a convenient way and the four-sectioned Travel version with only 65cm closed length can be perfectly stowed when travelling by plane. Just like the established heavy models, also the Sealine Interline Light Pilk rods are perfectly reliable companions at sea fishing!

This premium high module "High Volume Fiber" material has been developed by DAIWA and is exclusively processed in our own rod factories. The very slim carbon fibers allow the manufacturing of extra-compact blanks with low resin content. The resulting rods are extremely lightweight, feature a fast action and are better balanced than rods of conventional carbon fiber blanks.
Special carbon fiber material for the improvement of the torsion-resistance. Conventional carbon fibers are always layered in a 90° angle - the new X45 material features a 45° angle and is combined with 0° and 90° layered carbon fibers. This construction makes the rods stronger and more distortion-proof.
Despite the increased distortion-proofness the flexibility is maintained. This implies that X45 rods are not only stronger and cast more precisely, but also support the angler at the presentation of delicate lures and at ending the fight with the fish safely.
V-Joint is a special spigot joint, where the spigot and the blank around the spigot are made of a special, exclusively for DAIWA made BIAS carbon fiber material. The carbon fibers follow a 45-degree angle. The consequence is higher strain resistance and an improved bending curve.
